Thatcher Farm is Greater Boston’s original dairy home delivery service. Since 1891 five generations of the Manning Family have owned and operated Thatcher Farm.
Thatcher Farm sits on the edge of the Thatcher Plains, land granted in 1689 to Milton's first resident minister, Rev Peter Thatcher.

Thatcher Farm delivers fresh, local milk and groceries to your doorstep saving you time and money. Our delivery fees and minimums are much less expensive than the large corporate delivery services and far more convenient than a trip to the grocery store…and you get the highest quality milk around!
Until the 1960’s Thatcher Farm kept a 250 dairy cows in Milton. When development made this no longer feasible, we developed a partnership with the Hatchland Farm of North Haverhill, New Hampshire. The Hatch Family shares our commitment to the highest possible quality. Our milk is bottled and delivered to you within 48 hours of leaving the farm. It is vat-pasteurized at 145 degrees Fahrenheit to maintain the wholesome, delicious taste and cooled gently for approximately 30 minutes; unlike many commercial organic brands that are cooked at a much higher temp and cooled for only seconds. We believe you just can't rush goodness!
Our milk is antibiotic-free and RSBT-free. The grass, hay and corn that the cows eat are all grown on the Hatchland farm. While not USDA certified Organic, the Hatchland Farm does follow organic and sustainable farming practices.
